The "Voices of Strength" project, implemented by Al-Mesalla Organization with support from the NISAAM program, aims to promote women's active participation in peacebuilding and electoral processes across five cities in Iraq: Mosul, Sinjar, Hamdaniya, Fallujah, and Ramadi. The project focuses on empowering women and amplifying their voices in public and political spaces through community-based initiatives, leadership training, and awareness campaigns. Al-Mesalla works closely with local women leaders, civil society groups, and community stakeholders to strengthen inclusive decision-making, enhance women's presence in peace and governance efforts, and promote gender equality. Project activities include organizing leadership and peacebuilding workshops, establishing women-led peace teams, facilitating advocacy campaigns on women's leadership, and implementing election preparation workshops and community dialogues. These efforts culminate in electoral campaigns that encourage women to vote, run for office, and advocate for their rights within the political system.

Project Objectives:

1. Strengthen women's leadership and peacebuilding capacity by equipping them with tools to engage effectively in local governance, conflict resolution, and community dialogue.
2. Enhance women's participation in elections and decision-making processes through voter education, public dialogues, and inclusive campaigning efforts.

Services provided by the project:

• Organizing training workshops on leadership, peacebuilding, and election participation.
• Forming and supporting women-led peace teams in five locations.
• Designing and implementing advocacy and electoral campaigns focused on women's rights and political engagement.
• Facilitating community events, dialogues, and consultations to foster inclusive civic participation.
