Our project, "Supporting Resilience, Promoting Livelihoods, and Peaceful Coexistence on Jazeerat Al-Ramadi, Bashiqa, and Telkaif," implemented in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with the support of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), focuses on addressing the urgent needs of communities in the Ramadi, Mosul, and Telkaif areas. These regions, severely affected by conflict and displacement, require comprehensive solutions that not only meet immediate needs but also promote long-term stability and prosperity.

Project Objective

1. To enhance economic resilience, food security, and peaceful coexistence among individuals and communities affected by conflict, displacement, and COVID-19 in areas liberated from ISIL in Nineveh and Anbar.
2. In line with Iraq's National Development Plan and Humanitarian Response Plan, our project integrates social cohesion services and agricultural livelihoods. By combining these two core components, we ensure a holistic approach that addresses the multifaceted challenges faced by IDPs, returnees, and diverse host communities.
3. At the heart of our initiative is the commitment to building resilience. We recognize that real progress stems from enabling communities to thrive despite adversity. Through targeted interventions, including livelihood support, agricultural training, and social cohesion activities, we provide individuals with the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives
   and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.

By promoting peaceful coexistence and enhancing livelihood opportunities, we not only meet urgent needs but also lay the foundation for sustainable development and lasting peace. Our efforts in areas liberated from ISIS in Nineveh and Anbar reflect our unwavering commitment to building a more resilient, inclusive, and prosperous Iraq.
